Job summary

Neupulse in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to take ownership of our wearable neurostimulation device firmware, guiding external partner work and laying the foundations for an in-house capability.

You will influence architecture, ensure compliance with medical device standards such as IEC 62304, and collaborate with electronics, software, quality and regulatory teams to deliver safe, reliable products.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded firmware for medical or regulated devices is preferred.
• Ability to own firmware development end-to-end and work with external partners.
• Knowledge of IEC 62304 or similar regulatory standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of firmware and guide external development partner.
• Contribute to V2 and future product firmware architecture decisions.
• Ensure development, testing and documentation meet medical device regulatory requirements.
