Job summary
Elekta is seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer to provide technical leadership for high-voltage and power electronic systems at the heart of radiotherapy solutions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative products that improve patient outcomes worldwide.
Based at Crawley HQ with a hybrid pattern (4 days on site, 1 day WFH), you will mentor colleagues and drive design reviews, risk management and continuous improvement while advancing precision
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with power electronics, high-voltage systems, RF, pulsed-power.
- Knowledge of EMC, grounding, shielding, insulation, thermal management and reliability.
- Experience in regulated, high-reliability or safety-critical environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of high-voltage, RF and pulsed-power subsystems for medical linear accelerators.
- Drive design, integration, verification and lifecycle activities for safe and reliable solutions.
- Resolve complex technical challenges in power electronics, RF, thermal and EMC aspects.
- Define technical requirements and review designs within your area of expertise.
- Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality and service teams.
- Mentor and share knowledge across the team and support design reviews and risk management.
