Lead Electrician

Job Description

Talent Corps seeks a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to join our team. The Lead Electrician will oversee electrical projects, provide leadership to a team of electricians, and ensure that all electrical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired in compliance with safety standards and building codes.

The role is in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team of electricians on job sites. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely project completion.
2. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. Ensure all work adheres to local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
3. Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting, repair, and diagnostics. Ensure systems are properly installed, inspected, and operational.
4. Enforce safety protocols and ensure that team members follow all relevant safety procedures. Conduct safety inspections and address any safety concerns immediately.
5. Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations. Review work plans and blueprints to ensure accuracy.
6. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other tradespeople to coordinate efforts, provide status updates, and resolve any issues on the job site.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and codes.
3. Expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving electrical issues.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail.
