Job Description:

The Role:

Lead Electrical Maintenance Technician (Internally called Senior Maintenance Technician)

  • Call-Out Allowance: 1 week in 5 (~ £3,000 per annum) + a minimum of 4 hours overtime at 1.5x pay for any actual call-out hours.
  • Minimum Total Salary/On-call Package at the time of joining: up to £52,205 + Benefits
  • Opportunities for salary increases and career development are available within this banding.

Responsibilities:

You will ensure the operational readiness of our STV 1, 2 & 3 energy recovery plant. Your daily activities will include planning and executing maintenance operations, leading and mentoring your team, and maintaining compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. A cost-effective approach combined with best practices is essential. You will leverage your expertise to mentor junior team members and provide technical advice as needed.

Requirements:

This role requires a confident professional with experience in heavy industry maintenance. An HNC in Electrical or Instrumentation (or equivalent experience) is necessary, along with good knowledge of environmental legislation. A Health & Safety qualification is advantageous, but your ability to lead a team, communicate technical information clearly, and enhance plant performance are the primary considerations.
