Job summary

A leading infrastructure solutions company in the UK is looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to work on Defence and Nuclear Energy projects. You will be responsible for leading projects, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role offers a hybrid working model, combining remote and office-based work, and requires significant experience in the Nuclear sector and a relevant engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of design practices in the Nuclear sector.
• Significant experience in electrical engineering.
• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical discipline technical input for projects.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Ensure designs comply with national and international standards.

Skills

Electrical engineering experience within the Nuclear sector

Design working practices in Nuclear sector

Knowledge of UK legislation and standards

Ability to achieve Security Clearance

CE marking requirements knowledge

Education

Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

Chartered or Incorporated engineer status
