Job description

Lead Electrical Engineer – Green Hydrogen & Ammonia Projects

Location: Hybrid – Ideally 4 days/week in Leatherhead

Summary:
We’re seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to support cutting-edge green hydrogen and ammonia projects. This role is ideal for engineers with experience in large-scale power systems involving renewable and conventional generation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead electrical engineering activities across global teams in a multi-office execution model
  2. Design and develop electrical power distribution systems for facilities with 100MW demand
  3. Integrate technologies such as electrolysers, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), and synchronous condensers (syncons)
  4. Support Concept and FEED stage design activities
  5. Provide technical leadership and review of key deliverables

Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience in electrical engineering for large-scale energy projects
  2. Strong background in renewable and conventional power systems
  3. Demonstrated expertise in Concept/FEED stage electrical design
  4. Proven leadership in multi-office project execution
  5. Ability to work hybrid, with a preference for 4 days onsite in Leatherhead
