Overview

Position - Lead Electrical Engineer

Salary - £52,000 per annum

Location - Mayfair, West End.

Working Hours - Monday-Friday - 8:00am-5:00pm

Reporting Into - Contract Manager

TecRec have partnered with a global FM provider who are currently searching for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to be based on one of our client's key portfolios. This is a prestigious contract, so well presented and good communications skills are very important.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work on a high-end commercial site with excellent opportunities for training, upskilling and progression. The ideal candidate will progress to the Contract Supervisor within 12 months of being onsite.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • To support in the delivery on mechanical, electrical, fabric, and administrative tasks of a FM hard services account.
  • You will be responsible for a team of two engineers onsite, one electrical & one mechanical engineer.
  • To ensure to the best of their ability that all requirements of the contract are met where these fall into the scope of their responsibilities and tasks.
  • Co-ordinate and lead all contractor hard service activities, including Risk assessments, Method statements and insuring QHSE Permitting is always upheld.
  • Lead specialist contractors during service visits as and when required.
  • To liaise with the Client and Contract Supervisor in relation to the planning and organization of works that may affect the normal business activities of the sites.
  • Maintain relationships with key Stakeholders and give regular updates with regards to ongoing site maintenance issues.
  • Proficient in managing costs relating to delivery of maintenance activities at client site location.
  • Responds to customer requests in compliance with agreed service levels
Ideal Candidate
  • Educated to a minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent preferably in an electrical, mechanical or plumbing discipline
  • Must have a proven track record in the overseeing the maintenance of detailed mechanical and electrical building services.
  • Confident decision maker
  • L8 water management experience
  • Good all-round technical knowledge of building services and relevant processes.
