Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical solutions across diverse sectors in the UK.

You will own multiple projects, mentor engineers, engage clients, and drive compliant, sustainable design from concept to handover.

This role supports flexible and hybrid working with office and site presence several days per week, and projects UK-wide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering; Chartered status preferred.
• Proven experience leading electrical design across multiple sectors.
• Strong knowledge of regulations, sustainability, and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review electrical designs, calculations, specs and reports.
• Manage multiple projects with budgets and timelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development.
