Job summary

Turner Lovell is seeking an experienced electrical design lead to deliver HV substation and power infrastructure projects across the UK, with emphasis on Greater London. You will own technical delivery and act as the primary interface with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review design deliverables for technical and quality compliance, manage risks, and drive timely delivery on multiple concurrent schemes while upholding UK standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering HV or EHV substation projects.
• Expertise in Electrical Design, Primary Design or Protection & Control.
• Experience coordinating design delivery across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK transmission/distribution standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience delivering HV or EHV substation or power infrastructure projects.
• Background in Electrical Design, Primary Design, Protection & Control or a related power engineering discipline.
• Experience leading or coordinating design delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
• Comfortable acting as the technical interface with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of UK transmission or distribution standards and design processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
