Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. seeks an Electrical Commissioning & Test Engineer (Automation / Intralogistics) to own final testing at a major distribution centre in the UK.

On-site at Coalville, Leicestershire, you will run SATs, performance and volume tests, coordinating with engineers and the client to certify readiness before handover. The role focuses on PLCs, SCADA and automated systems, requiring hands-on testing and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in PLCs, SCADA and automated systems.
• Experience in testing and commissioning environments is essential.
• ECS card or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run SATs, performance and volume tests to finalise readiness.
• Test automation hardware and software, including conveyors, cranes and shuttles.
• Oversee PLC and WCS/WMS testing to ensure system integration.
• Track and close issues in Jira and re-test fixes.
• Act as main tester liaison with engineers, commissioning teams and client.
