A re you an experienced, electrically-biased commissioning manager with a passion for working on high-profile construction projects?

Do you have a background in the data centre sector and are familiar with ASHRAE standards?

If so, Crown House Technologies, our in-house MEP Engineering business, could be the perfect place for you. We are currently seeking a Lead Electrical Commissioning Manager to join our team on one of our exciting data centre projects located in Dagenham, East London.

What Will the Role Involve?

As Lead Commissioning Manager, you will oversee all electrical commissioning activities, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to manage critical processes such as FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), and liaising with various teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Main Capital Equipment (MCE) Project Manager to record and issue Vendor-specific FAT results (L1), on-site installation checks (L2a & b), and SATs (L3).
  • Working closely with the Electrical Project Manager to track and issue FAT results, and ensure vendor and installer compliance during installation and SATs.
  • Leading the Electrical Commissioning (Cx) RAMS review and approval process, working with vendors, CxA, and Operations teams.
  • Coordinating with the Quality Manager to ensure all Cx 2 & 3 checklists are completed via the Fieldview Tagging Process, leading to successful Facility Grid tagging sign-off.
  • Ensuring coordination of energisations, exclusion zones, and AP resources in collaboration with the Electrical SAP for Cx 3, 4, & 5 commissioning activities.
  • Supporting the CxA in the development of test scripts and ensuring their effective execution.
  • Overseeing all electrical commissioning activities (Cx3) and enabling works.

  • DCOS (BMS), Lighting Controls, Emergency Lighting Lux Measurements
  • Access Control, Fire Alarm, CCTV Systems, ICT Networks/WiFi
Skills & Experience We're Looking For:
  • CSA CM2 certification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of commissioning management, particularly within data centre facilities.
  • Experience in producing and managing commissioning work schedules.
  • Significant experience working on budgets ranging from £0.5m - £5m.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and commissioning processes.
