A leading engineering firm is seeking a Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer for a new waste to energy project located in Cheshire, United Kingdom. The role involves leading the electrical commissioning phase, working up to 132kV, and requires hands-on experience with schematics, switchgear, UPS, and transformers. The project is set to run 50 hours a week and is expected to complete by the end of 2026.
Lead electrical commissioning engineer authorised up to 132kV required for energisation and start up of a new build waste to energy project. Must be fully conversant with schematics and happy to be hands on with switchgear, UPS and transformers.
Project is 50 hours per week on site in Cheshire. OT at T1/3 for any additional hours. Project due to complete at end of 2026. There is a commissioning manager in place but you will be leading the electrical scope of the commissioning phase.
