Job summary

Eleven is seeking a Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer for a major UK power plant programme in Bedfordshire. You will lead the electrical commissioning of a new-build plant, overseeing pre-commissioning, energisation and handover activities.

You will manage site teams, coordinate with contractors, ensure safety and compliance, and drive successful first fire, synchronisation and handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical commissioning on energy/ power projects.
• Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems and protection schemes.
• Ability to coordinate multi-discipline commissioning teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical commissioning of a new-build power plant from pre-commissioning through energisation and handover.
• Manage site activities, safety, quality, and schedules during commissioning.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and operations to ensure successful first fire and synchronisation.
