These three teams are at the forefront of Clarivate’s efforts to create responsible metrics, support responsible research assessment, build relationships of trust with research institutions, funding bodies and scholarly publishers and protect the integrity of the scholarly record.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our rigorous commitment to providing trustworthy data, metrics, analytics and news and fostering an ethical scholarly environment.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 10 years’ experience in an academic, research or scholarly publishing setting
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to orchestrate cross-team efforts to deliver to tight deadlines
  • Excellent English language verbal and written skills to effectively and accurately communicate complex information and data in an accessible manner internally and externally
  • Proven experience in external-facing situations that require the requisite diplomacy, discretion, and professionalism

It would be great if you also had the following

  • Experience of working in a large, global team that requires decision-making and delegation in a matrix environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records in a shared environment
  • Resilience, and the ability to remain calm and focused, in high pressure situations
  • Willingness to be flexible and embrace change

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Oversee the delivery of the editorial component of our annual ISI recognition programmes – Highly Cited Researchers and Citation Laureates – and coordinate the creation of supporting collateral for internal and external use
  • Manage the output of ISI data and insight-driven content in the shape of blogs, reports, white papers and scholarly articles
  • Provide organisational support for in-person and virtual Research Professional News events
  • Provide operational support for the Editorial Leadership team
  • Facilitate collaboration with external partners, to build and maintain appropriate relationships and deliver deeper engagement with research institutions, funding bodies, and scholarly publishers.

About the Team:

  • You will be part of the UK-based Research & Analytics Editorial Leadership Team and reporting to the SVP & Editor-in-Chief, Web of Science.
  • You will be part of the Research & Analytics Editorial Division alongside ~60 colleagues from the Institute for Scientific Information, Research Professional News and WoS Editorial Selection teams based across the UK, US, Spain, Serbia and India.
  • You will also be collaborating closely with the communications, marketing and brand teams.
