Job summary

isepglobal in Cardiff is seeking a Principal Ecologist to lead ecological projects from initial surveys through assessment, mitigation design and planning support. The role offers mentoring of junior staff and a chance to shape the ecology team's future amid a diverse workload across Wales and the wider UK.

Based in Cardiff with flexible hybrid working, you will collaborate with clients, planning authorities and multidisciplinary teams on development, infrastructure, conservation and renewable

Qualifications

• Significant ecological consultancy experience
• Strong project management and report writing skills
• Protected species survey and mitigation experience
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Ability to regularly attend the Cardiff office
• Living in or near the office location
• Membership of CIEEM (Chartered status desirable)
