Job Description:

Lead EC&I Engineer | Electrical Control | Instrumentation | £60,000 - £75,000 + £5,600 car | 2 days a week in the office

I am currently working with a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the nuclear, oil & gas, renewables, and many more industries. They have a global workforce focused on enhancing efficiency and implementing critical technology into these sites.

Their client is a highly established business building out their EC&I team with key hires due to large projects and continued growth of their UK operations. One of these key hires is a Lead EC&I Engineer. The role involves leading the team technically across multiple projects and being a key point of knowledge for management and clients.

Key Experience

  • Previous Lead EC&I Engineer experience in multi-discipline projects within an engineering, EPC, or EPCM company
  • Experience as a line manager or technical authority
  • Deep knowledge of engineering and design practices
  • TUV certification
  • Strong understanding of standards such as 61511, ATEX, DSEAR, LV, HV, 7671, 7430 & 61508
  • Experience with EC&I design packages like AMTECH, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, Dialux
