Job summary

Premier Inn in Manchester (West Didsbury) is hiring a Duty Manager to lead shifts, support multiple departments, and ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll work across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant, delivering briefings and coaching colleagues to maintain smooth operations.

The role offers a permanent contract with guaranteed hours, ongoing training, and clear progression paths within Whitbread’s Premier Inn brand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a hotel or fast-paced guest-facing environment.
• Able to coach and develop team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
