Job summary

DTC, A Codan Company, based in Whiteley, Hampshire, is seeking a Principal/Senior DSP Engineer to design and develop signal processing algorithms and proprietary waveforms for robust wireless data transmission. You will work across MATLAB and Python to model, simulate and test SDR technologies, translating DSP into real‑time products.

Experience in wireless comms or SDR is valued, with opportunities to contribute across C/C++, embedded systems and potentially FPGA aspects.

Qualifications

• Experience in wireless communications or SDR is advantageous but not required.
• Strong DSP fundamentals and ability to translate algorithms to real‑time products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop signal processing algorithms and proprietary waveforms for reliable and secure data transmission.
• Model, simulate and test DSP algorithms using MATLAB and/or Python.
• Evaluate and improve waveforms for challenging channel conditions and integration with SDR technology.
• Support verification, prototyping and potential production readiness.
