TT Electronics Bedlington is seeking a Lead Digitisation Engineer to shape the strategy, architecture and delivery of automated data pipelines, IoT integration and smart manufacturing systems.

You will drive yield optimisation, predictive maintenance and lights-out automation across cleanroom and assembly lines, bridging traditional semiconductor processes with cutting-edge digital infrastructure. A senior role with significant influence on process improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading digital transformation or Industry 4.0 initiatives from concept to deployment.
• Familiarity with microelectronics assembly equipment and factory automation protocols.
• Proficiency in programming languages used for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with time-series databases and modern data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Design Industry 4.0 strategy and roadmap.
• Integrate legacy and modern microelectronics equipment.
• Architect data pipelines for process data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with process engineers on APC, SPC, and ML models.
• Lead multidisciplinary projects with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate and manage external software vendors and system integrators.
