About the Role

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within South Africa. The Lead Architect will be instrumental in designing and implementing comprehensive digital strategies that drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and create new business opportunities. You will work across diverse business units, identifying key areas for digital intervention and architecting scalable, robust, and secure technology solutions. Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a lead or principal role.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Deep expertise in cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics, and machine learning principles.
• Excellent knowledge of various architectural styles and design patterns.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
