Job summary

Rhodes Wood Hospital is seeking a Lead Dietitian to lead and develop the dietetic service for young people with eating disorders, providing professional and clinical leadership, delivering evidence-based nutritional care, and working with multidisciplinary teams.

You will lead audits, dashboards, and service improvements, supervise and develop the dietetic team, support recruitment, education, and training, and collaborate with catering and partner sites to ensure safe, person-centred care

Qualifications

• Qualified Dietitian with minimum 5 years' experience.
• HCPC registered with BDA membership.
• Experience in mental health and eating disorders.
• Inpatient/acute settings experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of NICE guidance for eating disorders.
• Safeguarding and Mental Health Act/Capacity Act knowledge for CYPMHS.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and professional leadership for the dietetic service.
• Develop personalised nutritional care plans for young people with eating disorders.
• Drive service development, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead supervision, recruitment, education and professional development.
• Collaborate with catering and other services to meet specialist dietary needs.
• Represent the service in governance and stakeholder meetings; mentor staff.
