Job Title: Senior and Lead DevOps Engineers

We are seeking experienced Senior and Lead DevOps Engineers with a background in Software Development for a major client. This client is establishing a new engineering capability in their Leeds offices, focusing on Cloud Automation solutions across all three major Public Clouds, serving a wide range of Public Sector organizations.

Security Clearance Requirement

Applicants must hold or be capable of obtaining UK National Security Vetting. Requirements may include, but are not limited to, having resided in the UK for at least the past 5 years and being a UK national or dual UK national. Applications from candidates unable to meet these criteria will not be considered.

Candidate Requirements

To secure a Lead DevOps Engineer role, candidates must come from a Software Development background and remain technically hands-on with coding or scripting. Essential skills include:

• Designing and building infrastructure with a DevOps mindset on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with distributed systems and building secure cloud solutions at scale
• Effective stakeholder and client management skills
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Github Actions, CircleCI, etc.
• Building infrastructure testing within deployment pipelines for automation
