Base pay range

• Platform / DevOps Lead (Serverless AWS hands-on, managing 3 people)
• Up to £80,000 + Benefits
• Remote-First within the UK (paid for meetings 4 x per year)

We’re looking for an AWS Platform Lead to drive the evolution of cloud-native training platforms as customers transition to a new, AWS, microservices-based SaaS product.

What you’ll do:

• Manage a team of 3 DevOps / Platform Engineers, reporting directly to the Head of Development.
• Work with cutting-edge AWS serverless technologies to build scalable, event-driven systems used worldwide (StepFunction, Data Compute, Storage, Route53, CloudFormation).

You Should Apply If You Have:

• 5+ years experience working on AWS infrastructure (serverless) and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience managing at least 1 other Engineer.
• Experience with event-based or microservices architectures & CI/CD pipelines.
• A passion for clean architecture, mentoring others & making teams stronger.

The stack includes AWS (StepFunction, Data Compute, Storage, Route53, CloudFormation), CI/CD, microservices, event-driven microservices.

You must be comfortable being part of a weekend support rota for high-priority incidents.
