Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to build and operate cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for a Snowflake-based data platform. You will ensure secure, scalable environments and collaborate with data engineers to enable continuous delivery across dev/test/prod.

Key responsibilities include IaC (Terraform), CI/CD with GitHub Actions/GitLab/Azure DevOps, and strong monitoring. Knowledge of security, IAM, and compliance in financial contexts is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake
• DevOps & Cloud Engineering
• Strong experience in DevOps or platform engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Proven use of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of version control (Git) and release management practices
• Data Platform Awareness
• Experience supporting data platforms or data engineering team
• Understanding of ELT/ETL pipelines and data workflows
• Monitoring & Operation
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, cloud-native)
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
• Security
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM, and secrets management
• Awareness of compliance requirements in regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Platform Engineering: design and manage cloud infrastructure supporting Snowflake and data services
• CI/CD & Automation: build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment and release management
• Snowflake Enablement: provision Snowflake environments, manage RBAC and secrets, collaborate with data engineers
• Monitoring & Reliability: implement monitoring, ensure high availability and troubleshoot production issues
• Security & Compliance: embed security practices, manage secrets and access controls for regulatory needs
• Collaboration & Best Practices: set deployment standards, document processes, promote DevOps culture
