Job summary

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London is inviting a Consultant to join our established neurodevelopmental and neurodisability team, working across CLA, Developmental Paediatrics, ADHD and ASD services. The post includes the Named Doctor for CLA and leadership responsibilities within the CLA service.

You will supervise trainees, deliver CLA clinics, and collaborate with the CLA nursing team and local authority partners to ensure high-quality care and timely assessments

Qualifications

• Experience as a consultant in paediatric neurodevelopmental care and CLA settings.
• Ability to lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide Named Doctor function for CLA and supervise CLA clinics.
• Undertake statutory CLA Initial Health Assessments and CLA Review Health Assessments.
• Produce healthcare reports and care plans within statutory timeframes.
• Deliver clinical supervision of trainees and other doctors.
• Collaborate with Named Nurse for CLA and LBW social services to maintain safe and efficient services.
• Prepare an annual quality assurance report for CLA with the management team.
