In this role, you’ll lead the evolution of our quoting and ordering platforms, improve and maintain our .NET and React-based systems, and help build a UK development function that supports our commercial, supply chain, and finance operations.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to our Technology Director, you'll take ownership of key systems and processes that drive our day-to-day and strategic decision making. From leading technical discussions to shaping development roadmaps and coaching new team members, this is a hands-on, future-facing leadership role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining modern .NET and React applications
  • Taking ownership of a newly implemented quoting and ordering platform to support our UK dealer and franchise network
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to define roadmaps and deliver innovative software solutions
  • Supporting long-term platform stability and code quality while driving system upgrades and enhancements
  • Investigating incidents, troubleshooting bugs, and improving performance across services
  • Helping to build and grow a new UK development team
  • Participating in agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
  • Working with technologies such as Optimizely (formerly EPiServer), React, Vue, Kubernetes, Azure cloud services, DevOps pipelines, and microservice APIs

Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience with C# and the .NET Framework/Core
  • Skilled in frontend development using JavaScript, Vue, and React
  • Confident working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead discussions and mentor others
  • Enthusiastic about problem-solving and improving how we work
  • Familiarity with tools and platforms like Git, Azure DevOps, Cosmos DB, SQL, and third-party SaaS integrations

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary
  • Hybrid working (3 days in the office in Leeds)
  • Career development opportunities
  • Flexible holidays: Buy up to five extra days with our holiday purchase scheme
  • Health and wellbeing support: Access our virtual GP service and employee assistance platform 24/7
  • Competitive salary
  • Lifestyle perks: Cycle to work scheme and discounts with over 200 top brands through our benefits app
  • Refer a friend scheme
  • A vibrant workplace: Be part of a team driven by innovation, collaboration, and shared success

You’ll thrive in this role by living and breathing our core values — Care, Deliver, Inspire. We’re looking for someone who not only brings technical excellence, but also leads with the right behaviours:

Proactive – You shape the tech agenda by anticipating challenges and staying ahead of the curve
Performance-focused – You drive delivery through collaboration and always keep the customer at the centre
People-oriented – You create strong teams, empower others, and build trust across departments
Personally accountable – You own your actions, continuously grow, and inspire those around you
