You will work with Lead Designer and cross-functional teams, using Photoshop and CAD tools to create visuals that meet ergonomic standards and technical requirements.

This role emphasizes collaborative design development, timely project delivery, and clear communication of concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design Development: Create innovative design proposals in 2D (sketches, renderings) and 3D (CAD models, digital media).
• Project Delivery: Assist in planning project timelines and objectives with Design/Project Manager; report on design status.
• 3D Design Development: Lead development of 3D design proposals, creating physical and digital models; coordinate documentation.
• Team Collaboration: Work within cross-functional teams; communicate concepts and rationales clearly to colleagues.

Position Overview

As a Designer, you will deliver compelling design proposals that embody brand values and strategic vision. You will engage in both 2D and 3D design, utilising advanced tools and techniques to create high-quality visuals that meet technical and ergonomic standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Development

• Create innovative design proposals in 2D (sketches, renderings) and 3D (CAD models, digital media).
• Analyse technical information to troubleshoot issues during development, ensuring high aesthetic quality.
• Collaborate with the Lead Designer and cross-functional teams, adhering to the Product Emergence Process (PEP).

2. Project Delivery

• Assist in planning project timelines and objectives in coordination with the Design or Project Manager.
• Report on design status during team meetings, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Supervise design proposals, both in-house and with external partners, delivering on time and within project parameters.

3. 3D Design Development

• Lead the development of 3D design proposals, creating both physical and digital models.
• Coordinate the timely procurement of necessary documentation for design input and model development.
• Ensure that all technical parameters and project inputs are seamlessly integrated.

4. Team Collaboration

• Work effectively within a cross-functional team environment, enhancing creative output.
• Navigates incomplete or imbalanced information, achieving consensus and implementing design solutions.
• Clearly communicate design concepts and rationales to colleagues and stakeholders.

• Proficient in 2D and 3D design software, including Photoshop and CAD applications.
• Up-to-date knowledge of competitor design trends and state-of-the-art technologies in your field.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and the Product Emergence Process (PEP).

• Colour/material and finish experience
• Understanding of detailing
