Job summary

TGS International Group is seeking a Principal Design Engineer (Structured Cabling) based in London to lead delivery of large-scale ICT infrastructure projects across data centres and offices. You will own technical accuracy, mentor teams, and collaborate with clients to deliver robust network designs in line with industry standards.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of structured cabling, and a proactive approach to project governance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical project teams in structured cabling environments.
• Strong ICT infrastructure and physical network design knowledge.
• Extensive experience with structured cabling systems and installations.
• Solid understanding of BS-EN standards and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams including consultants, clients, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget per company standards.
• Oversee day-to-day project decision-making and progress tracking.
