Qualifications

• Diploma level 4 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Caring, patient and empathetic attitude toward children with learning disabilities.
• Full driving licence with business insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to children with learning disabilities.
• Oversee staff to manage behaviours and promote self-control.
• Safeguard children and young people and ensure wellbeing.
• Assist the manager with daily and weekly tasks.
• Support referrals and share information with the team.
• Ensure thorough handovers and delegate appointments.
