Job summary

Rivencore Global Solutions is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to act as the technical authority for the design and delivery of electrical and electronic systems on complex defence programmes.

The role provides technical leadership across the full engineering lifecycle, from concept development and electrical design through verification, qualification, manufacture and customer acceptance ensuring compliance with customer requirements, engineering governance, safety, quality and applicable

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards professional registration.
• Extensive experience leading electrical/electronic system design on defence projects.
• Experience with engineering lifecycle management and design verification.
• Experience with DEF STAN, MIL-STD, EMC or qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical/electronic systems across projects.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the lifecycle from concept to customer acceptance.
• Mentor design teams and set high design quality standards.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and certification authorities.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage budgets.
