Job description

We're working with a growing technology consultancy that specializes in Cyber Security, Data & AI within the public sector space.

They've had a fantastic 18 months with lots of positive expansion, and with this in mind, they're looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join their Public Sector team, delivering to enterprise clients.

They'd like you to be the Data Science SME, responsible for leading end-to-end customer engagements in both a hands-off and hands-on capacity.

The role has two main aspects:

1. A commercial and consulting mindset - Ability to explain how, what, and why data is working in specific ways to customers, ensuring they understand your approach.
2. A Data Science Engineering skillset - Experience with Python, Azure, AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), deployments, containerization, etc.

Preferred skills include:

• Experience working in consulting, engineering, or data industries
• Skills covering Data Engineering, Data Security, and Data Science
• Experience with cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP
• Demonstrable project leadership and mentoring experience
• Strong database skills (e.g., GraphQL, SQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch)

SC Eligibility or SC Clearance is ESSENTIAL for this role.
