Job summary

J.P. Morgan seeks a Lead Data Scientist and Generative Lead to design, build, and operate production-grade ML and Generative AI services. You will stay close to code, set engineering standards, and ensure security, stability, and operational rigor across multiple workstreams.

The role requires strong software engineering and AI/ML fundamentals, with hands-on model development across ML, deep learning, and LLMs, plus experience deploying in secure enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate qualification in Data Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
• Hands-on experience building production AI/ML systems.
• Strong statistics, experimentation, and decision making under uncertainty.
• Experience deploying AI-enabled services in secure enterprise environments.
• Experience with LLMs and agentic AI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and drive decisions.
• Design and build production-grade ML/Generative AI services.
• Lead and mentor engineers, set engineering standards and practices.
• Collaborate with AI teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure regulatory and data-privacy considerations in system design.
