Job Description:
As a Lead Data Scientist at Luupli, you will leverage AWS analytics services to analyze data and extract valuable insights. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions and shape our data strategy to support business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to understand objectives, identify data needs, and set analytics goals.
- Implement data analysis strategies using AWS services like Amazon Redshift, Athena, EMR, and QuickSight.
- Design data pipelines and ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading into AWS.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques for predictive analysis, clustering, and pattern recognition.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and insights for product and engagement improvements.
- Work with data engineers to optimize data architecture, quality, and governance in AWS.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience as a Data Scientist, especially with AWS analytics services.
- Proficiency in AWS tools like Redshift, Athena, EMR, and QuickSight.
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, data warehousing, and statistical/machine learning techniques.
- Programming skills in Python, R, or Scala.
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, data visualization, and statistical packages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of social media analytics and user behavior.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
- Knowledge of AWS machine learning services like SageMaker and Comprehend.
- Awareness of data governance and security in AWS.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Compensation:
