Job Description
As a Lead Data Scientist at Luupli, you will leverage AWS analytics services to analyze data and extract insights. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop data-driven solutions and provide actionable recommendations to shape data strategy and support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Understand business objectives, define data requirements, and set analytics goals.
- Develop data analysis strategies using AWS services such as Amazon Redshift, Athena, EMR, and QuickSight.
- Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes for diverse data sources.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques for predictive, prescriptive analyses, clustering, segmentation, and pattern recognition.
- Identify key metrics, develop KPIs, and create dashboards and visualizations with Amazon QuickSight.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and insights for product and user engagement improvements.
- Work with data engineers to optimize data architecture, quality, and governance in AWS.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, especially with AWS analytics services.
- Strong proficiency in AWS tools like Redshift, Athena, EMR, and QuickSight.
- Understanding of data modeling, ETL, data warehousing, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
- Programming skills in Python, R, or Scala.
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, data visualization, and statistical packages.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with social media analytics and understanding user behavior.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
- Knowledge of AWS machine learning services like SageMaker and Comprehend.
- Understanding of data governance and security in AWS.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Compensation
