We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join the Peacock Data Science team, focusing on recommendation and personalization solutions for the Video Streaming Service.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop recommendation and personalization models using statistical, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
• Enhance data collection and refine data sources.
• Communicate complex solutions effectively across organizational levels.
• Collaborate with software and data architects to implement models into streaming architecture.
• Innovate in statistical and machine learning methodologies and tools.

Minimum qualifications:

• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Experience in advanced analytics, recommender systems, and deep learning with TensorFlow.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark; Java or Scala is a plus.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, AI Platform/Vertex AI, Kubeflow, and Airflow.
• Experience working with foundation models and Generative AI technologies.

Desired characteristics:

• Experience in media analytics and content streaming industry.
• Knowledge of reinforcement learning and handling large datasets.
• Familiarity with digital analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn new tools and methods.
