Job summary
ScottishPower, part of Iberdrola, is hiring a Data Scientist in Glasgow with hybrid options. You will lead a Customer Service data team, deliver reliable reporting and actionable insights to improve customer outcomes and operations.
You will design dashboards and KPI reporting using modern tools and translate data into tangible recommendations for senior stakeholders. You will work to maintain governance, quality and timely delivery, partnering across functions and influencing strategic
Qualifications
- Significant experience in a senior data, reporting, BI or insight role.
- Proven ability to lead people, projects or complex workstreams.
- Ability to interrogate complex datasets and translate findings into recommendations.
- Expert Excel skills and dashboard/reporting development using Tableau/Power BI.
- Experience with SQL, Power Query, R or Python for data manipulation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Customer Service data team, set priorities and coordinate workload.
- Deliver accurate, timely reporting and insight to enable operational control.
- Design dashboards, scorecards and KPI reporting for executives and regulators.
- Ensure governance, data quality and clear definitions across reporting.
- Interrogate data to identify trends and opportunities for performance gains.
