A leading company in maritime analytics is seeking a Data Scientist to join their advanced analytics group in London. This role involves building statistical and machine learning models to enhance behavioral profiling for the global shipping fleet, leading a multi-location team while providing technical insights and customer interaction. Successful candidates will have a strong background in data science, be passionate about continuous learning, and adept in using SQL and Python for data extraction and modeling.

Role Profile
The Data Scientist will join our advanced analytics group to assist us in building various advanced statistical, deterministic and machine learning models to create behavioural profiling on a range of data features relating to the global shipping fleet.
This role involves leading a team and customer-facing interactions: Analytical model explainability is a core principle in how we develop models, and our data scientists assist sales and product colleagues with articulating to customers the quality of our analytical models.
The role will report to Data Science & Analytics Manager and will be based in the company headquarters in London.
