You will design and deliver high-performance, real-time data processing solutions powering trading and research in a fast-paced financial environment. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of software engineering experience and strong expertise in Python, KDB/Q, or C++, with familiarity in applying AI to analytics, SDLC automation, and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience in large-scale, fast-paced financial environments.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for analytics-driven teams.
• Strong expertise in Python, KDB, or C++ for real-time data processing, application development, or data engineering.
• Working knowledge of AI technologies (machine learning, generative AI) to support data engineering, analytics, or SDLC automation.
• Proficiency with automation and CI/CD practices; solid grasp of Agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency, security).
• Experience leading and mentoring teams in a global, collaborative setting.
• Ability to tackle complex design problems independently across distributed teams.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical initiatives across global analytics teams, guiding engineers, contractors, and vendors in a high-velocity environment.
• Design, build, and optimize real-time data processing pipelines and applications for reliable, high-performance financial systems.
• Leverage AI technologies to enhance data engineering workflows, automate SDLC processes, and enable advanced analytics for trading and research.
• Collaborate with research and trading teams worldwide to onboard new datasets efficiently and consistently.
• Build and support robust tools and frameworks for quantitative research and production trading, including scalable APIs and analytics libraries.
• Mentor team members, manage workload, and drive continuous SDLC improvement across distributed teams.
• Influence product design, functionality, and operations to meet a rapidly evolving financial landscape.
• Act as subject matter expert in Python, KDB/Q, data engineering, and AI to share best practices firm-wide.
• Champion diversity, inclusion, and collaboration within large, global teams.
