Role Overview

Supporting a key department within a leading higher education organization, we seek an experienced leader/manager of Data Integration and Solutions Architecture to oversee the daily functions of a Data Integration Services Team.

Primary Duties

• Design and deliver a robust, performant, and auditable Data Integration Service.
• Implement a data integration service based on approved department technologies.
• Specify governance and best practice methodologies.
• Provide leadership and management to the Data Integration Service Team.
• Manage staff development and training to ensure skills remain current and relevant.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to team members.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including change, incident, service request, and problem management.
• Monitor and manage the performance of the Data Integration Service, identifying KPIs and improvement opportunities.
• Act as the point of contact for Product and Delivery Managers.
• Serve as the Technical Authority for development on the data integration platform.
• Ensure quality standards, design patterns, testing practices, and legal compliance are maintained.
• Coordinate with other teams including IT Security, Enterprise Architecture, and third-party suppliers.
