You’ll be embedded within client delivery teams or working alongside our senior consultants, helping define governance frameworks, solve cross-domain data issues, and build lasting internal capability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and shape client Data Governance strategies that align with wider business objectives and data aspirations.
  • Develop and embed policies, standards, and frameworks for end-to-end data governance, tailored to each client's context and needs.
  • Define and document standards, rules, and processes to support a holistic Data Governance model (e.g., ownership, quality, stewardship).
  • Coach and support client-side teams, helping build knowledge and capability in governance tools, workflows, and change management.
  • Facilitate Data Policy Governance forums, ensuring policy enforcement, ownership, and compliance across critical data domains.
  • Resolve complex, cross-functional data governance issues, working across business and technology stakeholders.
  • Support Change & Communications Leads to embed governance thinking through clear messaging, storytelling, and impact tracking.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Management or Data Strategy roles, ideally within large or complex organizations.
  • Understanding of best practices and regulatory considerations across data quality, metadata, ownership, access, lineage, and stewardship.
  • Ability to design and embed frameworks and policies for data governance from scratch.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build trust with senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Capability to coach and enable others; with a pragmatic, people-first mindset.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and proactively solving governance-related issues.
  • Experience working in consulting, delivery, or client-facing environments.
