Job summary

RevTech in London is seeking its first senior data engineer to design and build the data platform from scratch, supporting live AI products and customer deployments. You will own data architecture end-to-end, pipelines, storage, batch and real-time processing, and work closely with leadership on technical and product decisions.

The role is hybrid in London with a competitive £100k-£140k salary plus equity, and requires 7+ years in data engineering, Python mastery, and experience with vector

I'mworking with a well-funded, early-stage AI company in London that's looking for its first senior data engineer. The product is already live with customers, and they now need someone to build the data side of the platform properly, from the ground up.

What you'll be doing

• Designing the data architecture from scratch: pipelines, storage, batch and real-time
• Building the retrieval and vector search systems behind their AI products
• Working closely with the leadership team on technical and product decisions
• Setting the standards for the data function as it grows

What they're looking for

• A strong engineer who does data: 7+ years, mostly in hands-on data engineering
• Excellent Python and experience with distributed data systems
• Hands-on experience with vector databases and AI data workflows
• Start-up or scale-up experience, and the confidence to make and defend architecture calls
