What You’ll Tackle
  • Leading a new in-house Data Engineering function focused on Fabric integration
  • Designing and evolving robust architectures using Fabric components—Data Warehouses, Lakehouses, Real-Time Analytics & Pipelines
  • Building scalable, cloud-first data models tailored to retail operations and customer intelligence
  • Driving end-to-end development across Azure and Microsoft Fabric environments
  • Managing technical delivery across cross-functional teams and third-party collaborators
  • Embedding CI/CD processes and modern Agile workflows into data delivery
  • Identifying opportunities for Fabric optimisation and enabling advanced analytics capabilities
Experience:
  • Solid experience architecting and delivering solutions using Microsoft Fabric
  • Proven leadership in growing and mentoring high-performing data teams
  • Advanced knowledge of data integration strategies (CDC, APIs, ELT) and fabric-native tools
  • Strong understanding of Power BI, Synapse, and Dynamics 365 integration
  • Experience maintaining cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Hands-on proficiency with SQL Server, version control, and data lifecycle management
