Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to enhance data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions within the Corporate Technology team. You will maintain critical pipelines, support CIO, Treasury & Corporate Risk Management, and drive AI-ready data sources for innovation.

You will collaborate to define requirements, manage dependencies, and lead data platform initiatives that improve efficiency, security, and scalability across the firm.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Experience in Risk Analytics space; knowledge of corporate bond assets and securitisation.
• Proven experience integrating AI-assisted tools into engineering workflows.
• Experience in data governance, data quality, or analytics transformation programs.
• Strong technical skills in data profiling, analysis, and data management with modern tools.

Responsibilities

• Make data available for AI and analytics initiatives with cross-functional dependencies.
• Collaborate with partners to understand data requests and accelerate provisioning.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
• Prototype and deploy analytics and tooling using AI/ML approaches.
• Implement platform controls for security and compliance and SDLC alignment.
• Provide transparency and executive visibility into bottlenecks and metrics.
• Identify data lineage and provenance to support governance and regulatory needs.
• Drive efficiency through data flow reengineering and quality improvements.
• Lead data quality root cause analysis and embed preventative controls.
• Develop proactive controls to reduce time from issue to resolution.
• Elevate metadata and enable AI/ NLQ usage with Mesh architecture.
