Job summary

Answer Digital Limited is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to drive data-enabled decision making across client projects in a consultancy setting. You’ll guide teams, mentor junior engineers, and help grow our Data Engineering Academy while working across public and private sectors, with healthcare experience a real advantage.

You’ll design scalable, secure cloud data solutions, automate ETL, and lead CI/CD for data services, while building strong client and cross-team relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or guiding others and supporting clients to use data for better decision making.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and other relevant backend languages.
• Experience mentoring junior data engineers and promoting knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based data solutions with a focus on scalability and security.
• Automate data processes and ETL workflows, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data services.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Take a leadership role within the Data capability and contribute to wider planning discussions.
