Data Engineering & Analytics Lead at Zensar
Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of Snowflake Data & Analytics solution design and practice development, involving:
- Responding to client RFI, RFP documents with detailed technical solution design including cost estimates.
- Understanding customer requirements and creating technical propositions.
- Developing proactive proposals aligned with customer business priorities and technological landscape.
- Contributing to technical project roadmaps and leveraging technical scoping & solutioning approaches for successful project execution.
- Building solution roadmaps & strategies for internal Data Engineering & Analytics platform.
- Leading analyst briefings and presentations.
- Presenting technical solutions to customers and defending RFPs.
- Managing all aspects of technical solution development to ensure successful delivery.
- Developing best practices as needed.
- Estimating effort, identifying risks, and providing technical support.
- Multitasking and reprioritizing responsibilities based on dynamic requirements.
- Leading and mentoring practice teams.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 13-18 years of overall Data and Analytics experience.
- At least 10+ years in AWS data platform including AWS S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Sagemaker, Quicksight, and MLOPS.
- Expertise in Snowflake DWH architecture, Snowpipe, Data Sharing, Polaris catalog, and data governance.
- Knowledge of additional technologies such as Python, Streamlit, Matillion, DBT, Atlan, Terraform, Kubernetes, Data Vault, Data Mesh is advantageous.
- Ability to engage with principal data architects of client stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for client interactions and presales discussions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Data Platforms; at least 2 AWS Data/analytics/AI certifications are mandatory.
- Expertise in Snowflake including DWH, ETL, security, and metadata; SnowPro certification is desirable.
- Experience with open-source software platforms and languages such as Java, Python, Scala.
- Understanding of AWS Bedrock, AI services, and Snowflake Cortex services is desirable.
- Ability to develop IP/solution assets, accelerators, and frameworks.
- Engagement with AWS and Snowflake partners.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with customers.
