Sage is seeking a Data Architect to design and govern data across the organisation. You will shape data models, integration patterns, and reference designs, partnering with Technology, Product and governance teams to deliver secure, trusted data solutions that support reporting and decision-making.

As Sage's first dedicated Data Architect, you will lead standards, guide delivery teams, and ensure data remains traceable and secure in a globally distributed environment.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience of data architecture design in a multi-system enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of operational and analytical data design, incl. warehouse, lake, relational and non-relational storage on cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to define architectural standards and patterns and guide delivery teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead the design and maintenance of Sage's data models, integration patterns and reference designs.
• Develop and maintain data architecture standards, patterns and guidance for the department.
• Resolve complex data design problems and exercise judgement within architectural principles.
• Assess data and integration requirements of new initiatives and present options with trade-offs.
• Lead the data architecture element of the architectural review process.
• Plan and drive delivery of data architecture initiatives.
• Define lineage, metadata and data quality requirements within designs.
• Ensure security, privacy and regulatory requirements are built into data architecture.
