Job summary

Wipro Limited in the UK is seeking a Principal Consultant - Data Engineering & Architecture (GCP) to provide technical leadership across client engagements, delivering cloud-native data solutions. Working with clients, architects, engineers and business stakeholders, you will define scalable data architectures, lead delivery teams and support enterprise data transformation initiatives.

Role Overview

You will provide technical leadership across client engagements, delivering cloud-native data solutions primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Working with clients, architects, engineers and business stakeholders, you will define scalable data architectures, lead delivery teams and support enterprise data transformation initiatives.

Data Engineering & Delivery

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud data platforms and data products.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with GCP or equivalent cloud data platforms.
• Advanced expertise in:

• Strong knowledge of data modelling, data quality and monitoring.

Architecture & Leadership

• Extensive experience designing enterprise data platforms.
• Knowledge of MDM, governance, metadata and integration patterns.
• Proven leadership of large-scale data programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Professional Data Engineer and/or Cloud Architect certification.
• Experience with AI, Machine Learning or Generative AI.
• Knowledge of DataOps, MLOps and Lakehouse architectures.
