Job summary

Deutsche Bank in London seeks a hands-on Lead Data Analyst in Foreign Exchange Data Analytics. You will lead two to four analysts, turning complex financial and risk data into trusted datasets, controls and Tableau insights for Sales, Trading, Finance, Risk and Controls.

You will stay hands-on in SQL and Python, design production datasets, manage data governance, and partner with data platform engineers to deliver reliable analytics products and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience delivering trusted financial and risk data products with FX domain knowledge.
  • Expert SQL and Python capabilities with experience delivering controlled data products.
  • Strong Tableau knowledge and ability to translate business needs to data platform engineering requirements.
  • Experience guiding and coaching a small analytics team and delivering with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead two to four analysts: set priorities, coach delivery and review analysis and code.
  • Represent analytics to data platform engineers, translating business needs to clear requirements and outcomes.
  • Design, build and productionise analytical datasets, controls and Tableau dashboards with data lineage and documentation.
  • Lead modernisation and migrations while staying hands-on in SQL and Python delivery, including performance tuning.
