Job summary

Wavestone UK is seeking a senior Data & AI Consultant to drive AI-driven transformation projects for FTSE100 organisations. You will design and implement end-to-end AI solutions, write production-grade code in Python and TypeScript, and guide clients through technical decisions.

The role blends delivery, business development, people development, and thought leadership across GenAI initiatives. With deep expertise in LLMs, agentic systems, and cloud-native tooling, you will help shape enterprise

Qualifications

Strong hands-on programming in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript.
Proven experience building AI/LLM-powered applications in production.
Deep understanding of AI/GenAI fundamentals, model behaviour and evaluation.
Experience designing RAG systems, agentic workflows and tool-using AI apps.
Cloud platforms experience and solid software engineering practices.
Client-facing consulting background and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver AI-driven transformation engagements across strategy, architecture, build, and deployment.
Develop high-quality code and architect end-to-end AI solutions with scalable pipelines.
Drive pre-sales with demonstrations, proposals, and technical narratives.
Mentor consultants and engineers, share best practices, and contribute to thought leadership.
Stay at the forefront of AI/GenAI, evaluating new techniques and tooling.
