Job summary

Orbis Group is seeking a Head of Cyber Security to lead and evolve its security function within a fast-paced, technology-driven trading environment. You will work directly with senior leadership and stay close to engineering, shaping strategy and delivering technical security across systems and platforms.

The role requires hands-on expertise in security engineering, cloud and application security, with a focus on AI security and governance, incident response, and protecting sensitive market data

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in cyber security within trading/finance environments.
• Hands-on background across security engineering, cloud and app security.
• Experience collaborating with engineering in fast-paced tech settings.
• Strong understanding of AI security and secure software development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the firm's cyber security function.
• Define and execute cyber security strategy across the business.
• Partner with engineering to embed security into software and infrastructure.
• Drive AI security governance and incident response initiatives.
• Protect trading systems, data and intellectual property.
• Mentor a small security team and guide senior leadership on risk.
